Highlander Air Suspension Failure

The error points to the compressor, but I was wondering if a faulty plug connection to the compressor might cause this? Any way to check that myself?

A faulty connection is definitely a possibility, especially with older vehicles. Corroded or loose connections can cause intermittent failures or a complete lack of power to the compressor. It may be best to have a workshop look at the connection. The cost to fix the connection should be around 95€. However, make sure the compressor itself is okay!

Thanks for the info. It turned out to be a corroded connector to the compressor, just like you said. Saved me from buying a whole new compressor!

Sounds like a suspension issue. Does the error memory point to anything specific like a faulty sensor or the compressor itself? Have you checked the fuses related to the air suspension system? A blown fuse could cause the compressor to fail.
