Highlander transmission issue

Thanks for the reply. I haven't noticed any obvious coolant leaks, and the temperature gauge seems normal, so I don't think it's overheating. Is there a specific area where these cable or plug connections are typically located on the Highlander that I could check myself?

Given your statement that you have not identified any apparent coolant leakage or instances of overheating, the likelihood of a defective cable or plug connection indeed merits closer scrutiny. However, considering the complexity of the system and the potential for consequential damage if the diagnosis is incorrect, it would be prudent to consult with a qualified automotive technician. A systematic inspection and diagnostic procedure would be invaluable in ascertaining the precise nature of the malfunction and prescribing the most appropriate remedial measures.

Thank you for your advice. I took it to a local workshop, and you were right – it turned out to be a loose connector on the oil cooler. They re-seated the connector and cleared the codes. Cost me 95€, and it seems to have resolved the issue. Appreciate the help!

Greetings. Based on the symptoms you have described and the error code you retrieved, it is plausible that the radiator oil pressure issue is the root cause of the transmission problems. It is important to ascertain whether the problem arises from a defect in the cable or plug connection of the component. Prior to further action, may I inquire as to whether you have inspected the cooling system for any signs of coolant leakage, or observed any instances of car overheating?
