Thanks for the reply! The alarm is completely dead, no chirps, no flashing lights, nothing. I haven't checked the voltage yet, I was hoping it was just a fuse, but that seems fine. Did yours throw the same error code related to the auxiliary battery alarm?

Yep, pretty much identical symptoms. Alarm just went silent. The error code pointed to the same auxiliary battery issue. Honestly, after a bit of poking around, I just bit the bullet and took it to a workshop. They confirmed the battery was toast and replaced it. Seems like these batteries can go bad quicker than you'd think.

Appreciate the confirmation! Sounds like I'm headed to the workshop then. The estimated repair cost is around 330€, including a new battery. Hopefully, that'll sort it. Thanks again for the help!

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I've got a Hilux too, and I had something kinda similar happen last year. Was the alarm just completely dead, or was it doing anything at all before it went kaput? Did you try anything to test the battery, like a voltage check, before the error code popped up? It might give us a clue.
