Yes, I gave the wiring a quick look, but not deeply. When you say 'wiring and connections,' are there specific points I should be focusing on? Any common failure points?

On my BMW, it turned out to be corrosion on the plug connector. Visually inspect the connector and wiring harness for any signs of damage or corrosion. If you're not comfortable, take it to a workshop. It shouldn't be too expensive to diagnose and repair.

Thank you! I took it to a trusted workshop, and it was a corroded connector, just as you suspected. A replacement and cleaning set me back 95€, but everything is working perfectly now. Much appreciated!

I had a similar problem with my 2017 BMW 3 Series. Same symptoms: AC not working, error codes related to the temperature sensor. Have you checked the wiring and connections to the sensor itself?
