Honda Jade Terminal 30 Interruption
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Honda Jade is experiencing issues with Terminal 30 continuous plus interruptions, leading to poor starting performance. The initial suspicion is a heavily discharged or defective battery, but other potential causes include a short circuit affecting the power supply. Given the weak starter motor sound, checking for electrical faults is advised, though it may require professional tools and expertise. Ultimately, taking the vehicle to a workshop is recommended for a precise diagnosis and resolution.

The starter motor sounds weak, definitely not its usual self. So, you reckon it's worth checking for shorts before dropping money on a new battery? Did you find any specific area where the short circuit was located in your case?

Given the weak starter motor sound, yes, checking for shorts is worthwhile, but it's tricky without the proper tools. In my case, the electrical fault was difficult to pinpoint, and I ended up going to a workshop. They identified the issue quickly.

Appreciate the insight. Sounds like I'll save myself the headache and take it to a workshop. It cost me 290€, but at least it's sorted now. Thanks again!

I had a similar problem with my Jade. Is the starter motor turning over slowly, or is it more of a complete failure to start? Could be a short circuit somewhere, affecting the charging system perhaps?
