Has there been any recent work performed on the vehicle's electrical system, or any notable incidents such as a power surge or jump start? Moreover, are you certain that all connections to the head unit are secure? The audio system in that model is somewhat complex.

Thanks for the reply. No recent electrical work or jump starts. I did try to use a USB audio adapter through the auxiliary input recently, could a surge from that damage a speaker, and more importantly cause the whole audio system to fail like that?

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a local shop, and it turned out that a faulty bass speaker was indeed the culprit, and it somehow shorted the whole system. Repair cost me 280€ Appreciate the help!
