Honda Life Ignition Terminal Error
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Honda Life is experiencing an ignition issue, with an error indicating an interruption in Terminal 15 ignition positive, preventing the engine from starting. The problem may be due to a bad cable, plug, or ignition switch. Suggested solutions include checking for voltage drops, inspecting fuses for circuit breaks, and considering the power supply relay. If these steps don't resolve the issue, consulting a mechanic is advised.

Thanks for the idea. By circuit breaks, do you mean checking each fuse in the fuse box? And which power supply relay are you talking about? Is there a common one that fails in these cars?

Yes, check each fuse visually. That's the easiest first step. As for the relay, I don't remember the exact one on the Astra, it was some time ago. But after some forum searches and using a multimeter, I found it. If you're not comfortable with electrical work, I'd suggest a workshop, it's tricky. It cost me about 80€ including the part.

Thanks, I'll check the fuses and then decide. I spoke to my mechanic, he quoted 95€ for the work, so I'll probably go to the workshop. Thanks again for the help!

Interesting. I had a similar problem with my 2014 Opel Astra, though the details are a bit different. Same symptoms, engine wouldn't start and a weird electrical error code. Did you check for any obvious circuit breaks? Have you thought about the power supply relay?
