Honda Pilot Battery Sensor Issue

Hey, I'm having trouble with my 2017 Honda Pilot, gasoline engine, with 241469 km. The battery seems really discharged, and I'm seeing error messages on the speedometer, plus weak lights. My diagnostic tool found an error stored, and the engine is struggling to start. I'm thinking it might be a bad battery sensor. Anyone else run into this?

Summary of the thread

The problem was suspected to be a faulty battery sensor. After seeking advice, it was confirmed that similar issues had been resolved by checking battery terminals and the charging system. Ultimately, the issue was diagnosed as a faulty battery sensor, which was fixed at a workshop.

I had something similar with my Pilot. Check the battery terminals for corrosion and make sure they're tight. Also, get the battery charging system checked out.

Thanks! Did your Honda Pilot also store errors, maybe pointing to a sensor issue or something electrical?

Yes, it did store error codes. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They sorted it out quickly.

Thanks for confirming. I took your advice and brought my Pilot to the workshop. Turns out it was a faulty battery sensor. Cost me 315€ to fix. Thanks again for the help!
