HRV Hybrid Engine Start Issue

I'm experiencing an issue with my 2020 Honda HRV Hybrid. The engine refuses to start reliably. Sometimes it will start briefly, only to stall immediately afterward. An error is stored, which I suspect is related to the immobilizer. Could the key programming be incorrect, perhaps affecting the ignition control or key signal? The car has 86891 km on the clock.

Indeed, it does. It flashes erratically. Was your problem also diagnosed as a key issue?

Yes, precisely the same symptoms. I advise taking it to a workshop; they will almost certainly need to reprogram the key.

Thank you for the advice. The workshop confirmed the key programming was faulty. After reprogramming, the issue is resolved. The repair cost 45€.
