HRV keyless access failure
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Honda HRV hybrid experienced a failure in its keyless access system, with the car not recognizing the key and displaying an error message. A suggested cause was a faulty connection in the door handle electronics. Upon inspection, it was confirmed to be a loose connection, which was repaired, resolving the issue.

Thanks! When you say 'faulty connection,' are we talking a loose wire, corrosion, or something more sinister?

It’s likely a defective cable or plug connection in the door mechanism itself. Best to get it checked at a workshop, as it may also store an error in the error memory.

Thanks a bunch! Took your advice and got it checked. Turns out it was a loose connection in the door handle, just like you said. Cost me 95€, which is way better than a whole new system! Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my HRV. Check the door handle electronics. Could be a faulty connection.
