Hyundai Eon Cold Start Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Hyundai Eon is experiencing cold start problems, with the engine running poorly when cold and difficulty starting. A potential cause could be a faulty cold start injector. It is suggested to conduct an injector test to diagnose the issue, which is best performed by a professional at a workshop.

An injector test, you say? What exactly does that involve, and is it something I can do myself, or is it best left to a professional?

In my case with the Astra, it turned out to be a defective injector valve. An injector test will confirm if that's your issue too. While some DIY injector cleaning kits exist, I'd advise taking it to a workshop for proper diagnostics. Mine cost me around 500€ to fix.

Thanks, that's helpful. I'll take it to a workshop to get the injectors checked. Much appreciated!

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my old Opel Astra. Rough idle and difficulty starting when it was cold. Have you tried running an injector test or checking the fuel system?
