Cable and plug connections, huh? Where exactly are those located? I'm not super mechanically inclined, so I'm a bit lost. Also, did you also have this error in error memory?

Yeah, my error memory said something about power steering malfunction as well. As for the location of those connections... honestly, I'm not entirely sure myself. I ended up taking mine to a workshop, since I'm not too confident with electrical stuff. Probably best to get it checked out.

Alright, thanks for the tip! Sounds like a trip to the mechanic is in order. I took it to the shop and they just said there was a defective plug, replaced for 95€. Appreciate the help!

Whoa, sounds familiar. I've got an H1 too and had a similar issue not too long ago. Check your cable and plug connections on the power steering component. That can be a real pain.
