Hyundai i30 rough running engine light

Hi, I'm having trouble with my 2020 Hyundai i30 gasoline. It's got 138565 km on the clock. Recently, the check engine light came on, and the engine is running rough, especially at idle where it sometimes stalls. When I accelerate, it feels like it's jerking, and the power is definitely reduced. I suspect it might be a mixture preparation error. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Sounds familiar! I had similar issues with my i30. Rough running, check engine light... Drove me nuts! Have you checked the injection valves/injectors? Could be a defective injector causing a rich mixture.

Yeah, injectors were the culprit for me. All the symptoms you described plus the light. The workshop diagnosed it pretty quickly, saying it was a known issue with some i30s. I'd suggest getting it checked professionally to be sure.
