I haven't scanned it myself, don't have the equipment. But if it is the pressure sensor, is it a difficult fix? Thinking of tackling it myself, but I'm no mechanic by any means.

Replacing it isn't rocket science, but dealing with the fuel system can be messy and a bit risky if you don't know what you're doing. Given the symptoms and the potential diagnosis, it might be best to take it to a workshop. A new sensor plus labor could be around 240€, but at least you'd have peace of mind.

Okay, thanks for the advice! I took it to a workshop as you suggested. Turns out, it was the rail pressure sensor like we thought! Got it replaced, cost me 240€ but the car runs perfectly now. No more stalling!

Hmm, a faulty rail pressure sensor could cause those symptoms. It tells the car's computer how much fuel pressure there is. When it fails, it can cause the engine to stall, lose power, and trigger the check engine light. Have you tried scanning the car for error codes?
