i10 Cruise Control Failure
Summary of the thread
The cruise control on a 2008 Hyundai i10 diesel stopped working, accompanied by a warning light and an error code related to the cruise control system. Despite the fuses being fine, the issue was traced to a defective cable connection at the throttle body. The suggested solution was to check the throttle body connections, and after professional inspection, the problem was resolved by fixing the faulty cable connection.

Could you give me a little more detail about where to look at the throttle body and what exactly I should be looking for on the cable or plug connection? I'm not the most mechanically minded person.

Okay, so I had the same error. My error was ultimately due to the cable or plug connection being defective. I ended up taking mine to a workshop to get it sorted. Best to get it checked out if you aren't sure!

Thanks a lot for the advice! I decided to take it to a local mechanic, and you were spot on! It was indeed a defective cable connection at the throttle body. They fixed it for 95€, and the cruise control is working perfectly again. Really appreciate your help!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my i10. Check the throttle body. I'd wager it is probably the cable or plug connection.
