i10 Cruise Control Failure

Also, does your brake light work properly? Some cars disable cruise control if they detect a problem with the brake light circuit. I'm not sure about the exact location of the fuse box in your i10, but usually there's a diagram inside the fuse box cover or in the owner's manual. Checking the throttle position sensor properly usually requires a multimeter, which I guess you probably don't have. Considering you have an error code stored, and based on your description, the computer is likely detecting that there is an issue with a cable or plug connection of the cruise control component. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. They'll be able to diagnose it properly and fix it without too much hassle.

Thanks a lot! I followed your advice and took it to a local workshop. Turned out that the cruise control lever had a loose wire, and it was repaired quickly. Cost me 95€.
