i30 Intermittent System Errors

My 2011 Hyundai i30 with a gasoline engine is showing sporadic errors at 181249 km. Error lamps light up intermittently, and I'm seeing temporary system failures, especially with audio and navigation. Sometimes the system shuts down, and control units become unresponsive. A scan shows stored errors, but I'm unsure how to proceed. Has anyone else experienced similar issues with their i30?

I had something similar happen in my i30, though it wasn't the exact same systems failing. The random errors and lights sound familiar. Have you checked the cable connections to the control units? In my case it was the BUS system cable. Give it a look and see if they are corroded or loose.

I would say to go to the workshop. After I had the same error as you, I took it to the shop. The mechanic said it was the cable. It was indeed corroded. He changed it and the problem was solved. I do not know the exact location; so it is better to have it checked at the workshop.

I think getting professional help is the best idea. I'll book an appointment with my mechanic to check the BUS system cable connection. I'm expecting the repair to cost around 155€. Thanks again for the help.
