Impala starting issue

My 2013 Chevy Impala with a gasoline engine is giving me fits. It's got about 93k km on it. Keeps starting poorly, like the battery is drained. My code reader is showing “Terminal 30 continuous plus interrupted”. I’m suspecting something electrical, but unsure where to start looking.

Also, have you inspected the starter motor relay and its associated wiring harness for any signs of corrosion or damage? Is the ignition switch operating smoothly?

Voltage seems okay when the engine is finally running, but I haven't checked the starter motor relay or ignition switch. Where exactly is the starter motor relay located on this model?

Given the symptoms and error, and since you are unsure of the relay location, I'd advise against probing too deeply without proper schematics and diagnostic equipment. A faulty wiring harness or malfunctioning ignition switch can also cause similar issues. Thanks for the insights. I took your advice and had a shop look at it. Turns out, the battery was heavily discharged AND defective. New battery and I'm out 290€. Starts like a charm now.
