Injection Quantity Drift Compensation

I'm getting errors related to 'reset quantity drift compensation' on my 2002 Peugeot 806 diesel. It's running rough, the check engine light is on, and there's an error stored. Could this be a bad injector? Mileage is 74142 km. Does it need a reset or compensation adjustment?

Interesting. I had a similar issue with my 806. Rough running and the check engine light. Did you perform any onboard diagnostics?

Yes, I ran diagnostics, and the error points to drift compensation. Was your error specifically related to injection quantity drift, and did diagnostics point to it?

Yes, the error was related to injection. I tried some performance tuning myself, but it got too complex. Eventually, I had to get it professionally sorted. Can you replace the injector yourself?

Thanks for confirming. Considering the complexity and your experience, I'll take it to a workshop. The repair was 515€. Now I see why you suggested that. Your input was very helpful.
