Insight knock sensor issue

As for the error codes, I did scan it, and it pointed towards the knock sensor. But you're right, it could be something else causing the same symptoms. Yep, the error code on mine was also indicating a problem with the knock sensor. Given that and the similar symptoms, it's highly likely that's your culprit too. To be honest, unless you're really comfortable with auto electrics, it might be best to bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. They can properly diagnose and fix the wiring or replace the sensor if needed.

I took it to a local mechanic, and they confirmed it was indeed the knock sensor, with a faulty connection. They replaced the connector and charged me 95€.
