In my case, the technician found corrosion on one of the water valve connector pins. Cleaning it temporarily resolved the issue, but eventually, I had to replace the valve to ensure a permanent fix. I recommend you take it to a workshop.

I appreciate the advice. As suggested, I had it inspected. The cable or plug connection of the component was indeed defective. Repair cost was 95€. Thank you!

I also have an Insight, and I encountered a similar heating problem. Did you check the cable and plug connections to the water valve? A defective connection is a common culprit.
