Insight Low Heating Output

I own a 2021 Honda Insight, hybrid engine, with 116014 km. The heating output is too low, and an error is stored in the memory. I suspect a defective water valve. Has anyone experienced this?

Summary of the thread

A 2021 Honda Insight owner reported low heating output and suspected a defective water valve. Another Insight owner suggested checking the cable and plug connections to the water valve, as a defective connection is a common issue. Upon inspection, it was confirmed that the cable or plug connection was defective, and repairing it resolved the problem.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

I also have an Insight, and I encountered a similar heating problem. Did you check the cable and plug connections to the water valve? A defective connection is a common culprit.

Thank you for your reply. Could you provide more detail about the plug connections of the component?

In my case, the technician found corrosion on one of the water valve connector pins. Cleaning it temporarily resolved the issue, but eventually, I had to replace the valve to ensure a permanent fix. I recommend you take it to a workshop.

I appreciate the advice. As suggested, I had it inspected. The cable or plug connection of the component was indeed defective. Repair cost was 95€. Thank you!
