Insight turn signal issue
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Honda Insight is experiencing a turn signal issue, with an error message indicating a lighting fault stored in the vehicle's memory. The problem may be due to a cable or plug connection issue. A similar case suggests that the flasher relay could be the culprit, located behind the dashboard on the driver's side. It is recommended to have the vehicle properly diagnosed to confirm the issue and prevent further electrical problems.

The flasher relay...interesting. Where is that located exactly? And did you have the exact same symptoms – error message and all?

Yes, those were precisely the symptoms I experienced. As for the relay location, if my memory serves me correctly, it's behind the dashboard, accessible from the driver's side. I strongly recommend getting it properly diagnosed though, as a faulty relay can sometimes cause other electrical issues down the line. It cost me 95€ at the workshop.

Understood. Thanks for the insights; will take it in and have them check the relay and connections. Appreciate the heads-up!

Interesting. I drive an Insight as well. That sounds awfully familiar; did you by any chance inspect the flasher relay? That's often the culprit in these electrical oddities. It could be a simple fix.
