So, finally got it looked at. Turns out it was an undervoltage issue causing the A/C compressor to shut down! They sorted out the electrical gremlins, re-gassed the AC, and it's now blowing colder than a polar bear's toenails. Cost me 240€, but so worth it, especially with summer coming.
