Insignia Central Locking Failure

Thanks, will check the fuses first thing. And the wiring loom... good shout. When you had the similar issue, were all doors affected at once, or just one? And did it throw any specific error codes, or just a generic 'something's wrong' message?

Yep, all doors went at the same time. Pretty sure mine chucked up a generic code too, nothing that pointed directly to a fault location. Given everything's dead and you've checked the basics, it might be worth getting a workshop to take a look. They have diagnostic tools that can pinpoint the exact break in the circuit.

Cheers, I appreciate the pointer about the workshop. Got it looked at, you were spot on re: the wiring loom on the driver's side door. It was indeed a defective cable / plug. They sorted it for 95€ Thanks again!

I had something similar happen in my Insignia. Start by checking the fuses. A blown fuse can knock out the whole central locking system. Also, have you checked the wiring loom that goes into the door? They can get damaged over time, especially where they flex every time you open and close the door. Any signs of wear and tear there?
