Insignia damping adjustment fault

I've got a 2016 Vauxhall Insignia diesel with 168818 km on the clock. I'm getting a damping adjustment fault. The error is stored, the warning light is on, and the ride is pretty bumpy. I suspect it's a cable or plug issue. Anyone else had this?

I had something similar with my Insignia. Not sure what year mine is, but it sounds like the same problem. Check the wiring to the suspension components. It could be a loose connection or corroded plug. The bumpy ride and error light are classic signs.

Thanks for the reply. Do you remember which suspension component it was exactly? Was it difficult to get to?

Honestly, I didn't get into the specifics. I just took it to a workshop when the error kept popping up. They sorted it out pretty quick. If you're not comfortable poking around, that's probably your best bet. Could save you some headaches.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I took it to a local shop, and it turned out to be a faulty connection, just like you said. Cost me 95€ to fix. All good now!
