Thanks for your reply! No recent work has been carried out on the vehicle's electrical system. I've checked the basics: battery voltage, fuse box, but I'm struggling to pinpoint the connector for the OnStar module. Do you have any ideas on where to find the connection?

I comprehend. Given that there's been no interference, and the basic checks are complete, my professional advice would be to present the vehicle to a certified workshop. They possess the diagnostic equipment to accurately ascertain the cause and ensure the system is correctly reset. It may be an expensive job.

Understood, many thanks for your help! I took it to a local workshop. Turns out it was indeed a defective plug connection. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted, but all is well now.

I appreciate you bringing this to the forum's attention. I'm not deeply familiar with the Insignia's telematics, but could you perhaps elaborate on any recent work done on the vehicle's electrical system? It would be useful for understanding the situation better.
