Insignia Oil Level Sensor Error

Alright, I've got a head-scratcher. My 2018 Vauxhall Insignia gasoline is throwing an oil level sensor error. Mileage is sitting at 243577 km. I'm getting the error message in the speedometer, it's stored in the error memory, and the oil pressure warning lamp lights up sometimes, along with a general warning light. I'm suspecting a dodgy connection somewhere?

Sounds familiar. Seen that before on a few. Have you checked the cable and plug connection to the sensor itself? That's usually the culprit.

Yeah, had a look-see. Everything appears to be seated properly. Any specific pins or wires known to cause grief?

Not specifically, but those connections are pretty exposed to the elements. If they look okay externally, there could still be internal corrosion you can't see. Given all symptoms, the sensor itself is likely fine. You might need to get it properly diagnosed in a workshop.

Cheers. Was hoping to avoid the shop, but you're probably right. I took it in and they reckon it was indeed a corroded connector. 95€ later and she's purring again. Thanks for the help!
