Inspire Auxiliary Heater Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Honda Inspire owner is experiencing an issue with the auxiliary heater not activating and an error code being stored. The coolant level is confirmed to be adequate. A potential cause suggested is a faulty glow plug, which has been a similar issue for another Inspire owner. It is recommended to have the vehicle checked by a professional, as diagnosing and repairing the glow plug may require specific tools and expertise.

Glow plug, huh? I wouldn't have thought of that. Is that a common issue? Where is it located, is it something I could check myself?

It’s not unheard of, but I wouldn't call it super common. I didn’t check it myself because I don’t have the tools for that. I just took mine to the workshop, and they confirmed it pretty quickly. Might save you some time and hassle, especially with the error code already showing.

Thanks! I appreciate the insight. I’ll book it in and mention the glow plug. Just got a quote for 440€ for repair, so at least I know what to expect. Cheers!

Hey! I also have an Inspire and I had a similar issue last winter. Parking heater was dead, and it turned out to be a faulty glow plug. Have you checked that?
