Inspire Hybrid Fuel Tank Ventilation Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Honda Inspire Hybrid is experiencing fuel tank ventilation issues, indicated by a check engine light and occasional engine stalling at idle. The suspected causes include a leak in the EVAP system, a defective activated charcoal filter, a faulty pressure sensor, or restricted airflow. A similar issue in another vehicle was resolved by replacing a faulty charcoal canister, and in this case, replacing the defective activated charcoal filter was suggested and implemented as a solution.

Interesting. What was the root cause in your case? Did you also experience the stalling issue? Was the repair expensive or did you manage to fix it yourself?

Yeah, stalling too. Turned out to be a faulty charcoal canister. Replaced it and the problem was gone. I'd suggest getting it checked out by a workshop though.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I took it to a mechanic, and you were right – the activated charcoal filter was indeed defective. The replacement cost me 275€. Hopefully, this resolves the issue for good.

Sounds familiar. Had a similar issue with my old Opel Astra. Check engine light and everything. Could it be the same?
