Integra AUC Sensor Fault

Guys, my 2022 Honda Integra hybrid is throwing me for a loop. 77905 km on the clock. The blower motor just died. I suspect it's the AUC sensor – cabin air sensor, air conditioning sensor, HVAC sensor, odor sensor, whatever you want to call it. Anyone else run into this?

Summary of the thread

A 2022 Honda Integra hybrid with 77,905 km experienced a blower motor failure, suspected to be linked to the AUC sensor. Diagnostics revealed a specific fault code indicating a defective cable or plug connection. The issue was confirmed to be a bad connector on the AUC sensor, which was resolved by a technician.

Greetings. An AUC sensor fault manifesting as blower motor failure in a relatively new vehicle is certainly... unexpected. Before we jump to conclusions regarding the sensor itself, may I inquire whether you have performed any preliminary diagnostics? Specifically, have you verified the integrity of the blower motor fuse and relay? Furthermore, has the system been subjected to a diagnostic scan to ascertain the precise error code(s) being generated? It would be most helpful to understand the diagnostic process you have undertaken thus far.

Yes, I checked the fuses and relays, all good. It's throwing a specific AUC sensor fault code. The diagnostics point to a defective cable or plug connection.

Acknowledged. Given the confirmation of a specific AUC sensor fault code and the identification of a potentially defective cable or plug connection, I must concede the plausibility of your initial assessment. Regrettably, troubleshooting electrical faults within modern automotive systems can prove exceedingly complex, even with advanced diagnostic tools. In light of this, and considering the relative youth of your vehicle, I would strongly recommend consulting with a qualified automotive technician at your earliest convenience.

Thanks for confirming my suspicion. I took it to the shop, and you were right, it was a bad connector on the AUC sensor. 95€ later, it's fixed.
