Alright Integra gang, I'm pulling my hair out here! My 2022 Honda Integra hybrid is running super rich. I'm talking 231074 km on the clock and lately, it's been a nightmare. I've got reduced engine power, the check engine light is mocking me, it runs rough as guts, my fuel consumption has skyrocketed, and it's jerking like crazy when I try to accelerate. I reckon it's something to do with the fuel injection – maybe a dodgy valve or injector. Anyone else had similar issues? I'm dreading the repair bill...

Whoa, sounds rough! I had a similar issue with my Integra a while back. Check engine light was on, and the fuel economy went to pot. A rich mixture means you're burning too much fuel, which can gunk up your spark plugs and even damage your oxygen sensor over time. Is the smell of fuel stronger than usual?

Yeah, the fuel smell is definitely stronger, especially when I first start it up. Did you ever figure out exactly what was causing your rich mixture? Was it injectors? And did it cause any long-term damage before you caught it?

Yep, the strong fuel smell was the same symptom I experienced. I didn't want to risk any further damage, so I took it straight to the workshop. They ran some diagnostics and confirmed it was a faulty fuel injector. Honestly, I'd recommend doing the same before you end up with bigger problems. Cost me around 515€ to get it sorted.
