No electrical work recently. Terminals look clean. How would I check the voltage regulator?

Checking the regulator itself is tricky without proper tools. Given the symptoms, and that the terminals are clean, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. It could be more than just the battery.

Thanks for the advice! It was indeed the battery - heavily discharged/defective. Repair cost 290€. Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Integra. Check your battery terminals for corrosion. Also, it could be the voltage regulator, but start with the easy stuff first. Any recent electrical work done on the car?
