Interstar Clutch Pedal Switch Issue

I'm having issues with my 2016 Nissan Interstar diesel. At 112304 km, I've got an error code, the gear selection display isn't working, cruise control is dead, and sometimes it won't start. I'm thinking it might be the clutch pedal switch, maybe a bad cable or plug. Anyone else seen this on their Interstar?

I've got an Interstar too, though I'd need to check the year. I had almost the same symptoms a while back, including a similar error code. The intermittent starting was the worst. Did you check the switch itself, or just the wiring? Could be the switch is failing inside.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I've only checked the wiring and plug for damage so far, not the switch itself. Was your problem consistent, or did it come and go like mine? Did you get it fixed yourself, or did you take it in?

Mine was intermittent at first, which made it hard to figure out. Then it got worse until it barely started. Since a bad clutch pedal switch could be dangerous – it's a safety thing to stop you starting in gear – I'd get it checked by a shop. It might be a simple fix, but better safe than sorry. You probably can't do much with just home tools.

Thanks for the advice. I agree about the safety aspect and will book it into a workshop to get the clutch pedal switch checked and replaced if needed. Just so you know, it turned out to be a defective cable for the clutch pedal switch, and it cost 95€ to fix. Your help pointed me in the right direction. Hopefully, this helps other Interstar owners with similar problems.
