Ioniq5 Cruise Control Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Hyundai Ioniq5 experienced a cruise control failure at 40001 km, with the system not engaging and an error stored. Initial suspicion was a blown fuse, but further investigation suggested a possible issue with the throttle position or pedal switch, potentially due to a defective cable or plug connection. The problem was confirmed to be a defective plug connection, which was resolved at a repair shop for 95€.

Where exactly is that located? Is it easy to check myself, or should I just take it in?

It's probably best to take it in. Mine turned out to be a defective connection, and I didn't want to mess with it and potentially cause more damage.

Thanks for the advice! Took it to the shop, and you were right – a defective plug connection. Cost me 95€ to get it fixed.

I had a similar issue with my Ioniq5. Did you check the throttle position or pedal switch? It might be a defective cable or plug connection.
