iQ Climate Control Fault

My 2010 Toyota iQ diesel's climate control is acting up. It’s throwing an error, the heating output is weak, and the AC won't kick in. I've already checked the basics, but I suspect it's a bad connection somewhere. The car has 150824 km. Anyone seen this before?

I had similar issues with my iQ. Check the temperature sensor wiring and connectors behind the climate control panel. These cars are known for electronic faults in that area.

Thanks! Was it the same symptoms? I'm thinking it could be the temp sensor itself, or just the connector. Any other hints before I rip the dash apart?

Yep, same symptoms. Weak heat, AC not turning on. In the end, I took it to a workshop. They confirmed it was a dodgy connector. It's probably best to get it checked out professionally; could save you a lot of time.

Cheers! I went to the workshop as you said. Turned out to be a corroded connector, just like you guessed. 95€ and it's all fixed. Much appreciated!
