Hey, no problem, that's what we're here for. To be honest, I didn't really want to think about the money, but well, it was a whopping €880 for the repair of the faulty air conditioning control unit. Since the visit to the mechanic, however, the fault with the air conditioning system has been saved and rectified. Since then, everything has been running fine and I've had no more problems with the air conditioning. It was expensive, but at least the problem has been solved. Hope this helps you!

Hi, thanks for the info. That's a fair bit of money, but if it gets the car back in order, it's probably worth it. I'm glad to hear that everything is going well since the repair - that gives me hope! I'll see the mechanic tomorrow and see what he has to say. Thanks again! You've really helped me out!

Hi mate, I had a similar problem with my 2013 Opel Insignia. In my case it was actually the climate control unit. It was a serious problem because it controls the entire function of the air conditioning. It wasn't cooling and heating as it should, similar to yours. In the end, the air conditioning control unit had to be replaced in the workshop. After the replacement, the air conditioning worked like clockwork again. So it's quite possible that you have the same problem. I hope this helps you. Good luck!
