It's not typical for a scanner to take that long. First, ensure your Carly app and scanner firmware are up to date, as updates can improve performance. If the issue persists, try using a different device to see if the problem is with your current phone or tablet. Let me know if this helps or if you have any further questions!
Scanner updated the firmware as soon as I plugged it in for the first time. App is up to date. I’m using an iPhone pro so that’s more than capable and also tried it on a colleague’s…. Exactly the same. So far tried it on a mini, bmw and Merc; all the same.

Try checking the OBD-II port for any dirt or debris that might be causing a poor connection. A loose or dirty connection can slow down communication between the scanner and the vehicle. If the port looks clean and the issue persists, it might be worth reaching out to Carly support for further assistance. Let me know how it goes or if you have more questions!
