Hey, thanks for sharing your experience! Interesting, might be my compressor acting up too then. My S90 has done about 133,486 KM so far. The last service was quite recent, everything seemed in good nick, didn't have any issues until this AC thing cropped up. Let's see how it goes. Cheers!

Hey there! Given that your car's mileage isn't particularly high for its age, it's a bit odd if the compressor is causing issues already. But then again, AC systems can be temperamental sometimes. When I had a similar issue with my S60, apart from the compressor, the mechanic also mentioned it could've been a leak in the AC system or a refrigerant problem. You might want to get those points checked out as well. Regarding the recent service, was there any work done around the AC or cooling circuits? I'd pay attention to that too because sometimes even minor work can mess with AC performance if not done properly. Keep us updated though and good luck with your troubleshooting! Just a friendly piece of advice, make sure to not let it drag too long. Last thing you would want is the summer peak hitting and you stuck with a non-functional AC. Cheers!

Hey, appreciate the detailed tips! No, there wasn't any specific work done on the AC or cooling circuits during the last service. But you are right, I should probably get the whole AC system and refrigerant checked along with the compressor. I surely wouldn't want to deal with non-cooling AC in the peak of summer. Thanks again for your advice, will keep an update here about how it goes after I get it checked. Take care, cheers!

Hey! I've had a similar problem with my 2019 Volvo S60. For reference, I'm not an expert, but I've got some experience messing around with cars. When it happened to mine, I took it to the local workshop, and it turned out that the AC compressor was indeed defective (or something similar). They charged me around 625 Euro to sort it all out. By the way, can you share more info about your car's condition, like mileage and if you've had any recent maintenance? Might help in figuring out your issue better.
