ix20 rough running stalling
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Hyundai ix20 diesel is experiencing rough running, stalling when idling, and jerking during acceleration, with the check engine light on. These symptoms suggest a potential issue with the fuel pressure sensor. After checking for loose connections and consulting with others who had similar issues, it was confirmed that a defective cable to the fuel pressure sensor was the cause. Replacing the cable resolved the problem.

Yeah, the fuel economy seems a bit worse than usual. I'm at 115818 km. Was it definitely the pressure sensor for you?

Yep, exactly the same symptoms and mileage range. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop. Turned out to be a defective connection for me, so hopefully, it's nothing major for you either.

I took it to the shop. It was exactly that! The cable to the fuel pressure sensor was defective and has been replaced. The repair cost me 95€. Thanks for the advice!

Sounds familiar... I had similar issues with my ix20. Rough idle, engine misfire... could be the fuel pressure sensor. Did you notice any change in fuel economy? What mileage are you at?
