Jade automatic transmission defective

My 2017 Honda Jade with a gasoline engine has an issue. The automatic transmission seems defective in the parking position. The engine won't start, the check engine light is on, and the gearbox slips. There's also an error stored in the memory. I suspect a defective control unit. Has anyone experienced similar?

I have a Jade too, and had something similar happen. Does it feel like the park brake is stuck, and is it hard to shift out of park?

Yes, it does feel like the park brake is stuck. Shifting is difficult too. Was your issue also related to the control unit?

Most likely. My mechanic told me it was a common issue and had to replace it. I'd recommend getting it checked at a workshop.

Thanks for the info. It seems like it's indeed a defective control unit. I'll take it to the workshop to get it sorted. The estimated repair cost is around 1000€.
