Summary of the thread
A 2021 Honda Jazz hybrid experienced overheating and a bypass valve malfunction error at 52,644 km. A coolant leak? I haven't specifically checked for that. Where exactly was the leak coming from on yours? And did it specifically mention the bypass valve error too?

The leak was pretty small, tough to spot at first, near the radiator hose. And yes, the bypass valve error popped up because the engine was working harder to compensate for the coolant loss and higher temps. Honestly, get it to a workshop ASAP – it's probably a small fix, but overheating can do serious damage.

You were spot on! Took it to the workshop, and it was indeed a small coolant leak causing the bypass valve error. No cost to fix it as it was a consequential error from the coolant issue, which was covered. Huge thanks for the tip!

I also have a Jazz hybrid. I had similar overheating issues, but it turned out to be a coolant leak that caused some consequential errors. Have you checked your coolant level recently?
