Jumper ABS speed signal fault

Experiencing a speed signal fault with my 2020 Citroen Jumper (electric engine). The ABS lamp lights up, and I am experiencing traction problems, resulting in failure of the ABS system. The vehicle has 176472 km. Has anyone encountered similar issues?

That sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my 2018 Volvo XC60. The symptoms were almost identical - ABS light, traction control going haywire. In my case, it turned out to be a defective wheel speed sensor, throwing off the whole system. Have you had a diagnostic scan done to pinpoint which sensor is acting up? It could also be a transmission issue, but start with the ABS sensor as it is much easier to diagnose.

Thank you for the suggestion. I have not had a diagnostic scan performed yet, I was looking to see if anyone had a similar experience first. When you say it was a wheel speed sensor, did the diagnostic report specifically state that or was it more of a process of elimination?

The diagnostic report pointed directly at the rear left wheel speed sensor on my Volvo. Think of it like a faulty thermostat in your house. The whole heating system malfunctions, but it's just one small, broken component causing the problem. Given your symptoms and mileage, I would strongly recommend a professional diagnostic. While it could be other things, a defective control unit is the likely cause, especially since your vehicle is electric. You’re probably looking at a 1000€ repair, though.

I appreciate your insight. I will schedule a diagnostic appointment with a trusted workshop and share the outcome. Thanks again.
