Jumper Crankcase Ventilation Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2006 Citroen Jumper is experiencing a check engine light, reduced power, and smoke during acceleration, suspected to be due to a crankcase ventilation valve issue. The symptoms include a slightly rough idle, and a similar case was resolved by confirming a defective crankcase ventilation system at a workshop. It is advised to have the vehicle checked by a mechanic to diagnose and address the potential crankcase ventilation problem.

Thanks. No obvious leaks yet, but I'll check closer. The idle is slightly rougher than usual. Can you share your experience and how you fixed it?

Yeah, the rough idle and smoke sound familiar. Cleaning the valve didn't help me. I took it to a workshop, and they confirmed a defective crankcase ventilation. Get it checked properly; it could be more than just the valve.

I appreciate your insights. I'll schedule a mechanic appointment to diagnose the crankcase ventilation valve issue. Thanks again!

Hey, I had something similar with my Jumper. Check for leaks around the valve. Did you notice rough idle or whistling noises before the smoke?
