Jumper Fuel Consumption and Stalling
Summary of the thread
The 2005 Citroen Jumper is experiencing increased fuel consumption, engine stalling, a check engine light, and smoke during acceleration. These issues may be linked to a faulty mass air flow meter (LMM) sensor, as suggested by a similar case where replacing the sensor resolved the problems. Checking and potentially replacing the LMM sensor at a workshop is recommended to address these symptoms effectively.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Yeah, it does feel a bit sluggish, especially when I'm trying to overtake someone. What was the problem with yours? Was it really the LMM, or something else?

Yep, it turned out to be the mass air flow meter (LMM) sensor. Honestly, I messed around trying to clean it, but in the end, I just took it to a workshop. They confirmed the sensor was faulty and replaced it. Cost me around 365€, but it fixed everything!

Thanks a lot for the info! Sounds like I should probably just bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. Good to know what to expect. Cheers!

Sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same symptoms with my Jumper a while back. Higher fuel consumption, engine stalling, check engine light… Does the engine feel like it's lost some power too?
