Jumper Overheating

My 2000 Citroen Jumper, gasoline engine, is overheating. Only 77k km on it. I suspect the electric fan isn't kicking in. Pretty sure the fan itself is fine; feels like a cable or plug issue. Anyone seen this before?

Overheating is never good. Are you certain the fan motor isn't the issue? Have you checked the fuse for the radiator fan? Could be something simple.

Fuse is good. How would I go about testing the fan motor without just replacing it? I'm guessing directly connecting it to a power source?

Yeah, directly wiring it to the battery would tell you if the fan spins. But since you suspect a wiring issue anyway, and overheating can cause serious damage, I'd advise taking it to a workshop. Could save you a bigger headache.

Right you are. Ended up being a corroded connector. 95€ at the shop. Thanks for the push in the right direction.
