Jumpy damping adjustment error

Hi, I have a 2007 Citroen Jumpy with a gasoline engine and 216025 km on the clock. I'm getting an error related to the damping adjustment. The error is stored, and the warning light is on. The ride is also noticeably bumpier. I suspect it might be a defective cable or plug connection. Anyone else experienced this?

I've got a Jumpy too, and I had similar symptoms a while back. The diagnostic tool pointed to a problem with the damping adjustment. I'd suggest checking the wiring harness that goes to the suspension components. Specifically, look for any signs of corrosion, damage, or loose connections. Also, check the voltage at the connector to make sure it's within the specified range. Do you have access to a multimeter and the wiring diagrams for your Jumpy?

Thanks for the tip! I have a multimeter, but I'm not sure where to find the wiring diagrams for the suspension. Also, do you remember which suspension component was causing the issue in your case? Was it front or rear?

I don't recall the exact component but I do recall the mechanic advising it's difficult to pinpoint without proper diagnostic tools. It's a tricky system. I ended up taking mine to a workshop and they sorted it quickly. Might be worth considering, especially if you can't find the wiring diagrams. They have the right tools to check the system thoroughly.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I think I'll take it to a workshop then. I got an offer for 95€, hopefully it will be sorted out for that price.
