Jumpy lighting fault

Hi, I've got a 2023 Citroen Jumpy diesel, and I'm having some real issues with the car lighting. I'm getting a fault in the lighting system; the lights just switch on randomly, and there's an error stored in the error memory. I've checked the bulbs, but everything seems fine there. Could it be the light switch itself? Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Hey, I had a similar issue with my Citroen Jumpy. From what you describe, it does sound like a faulty light switch, or possibly a connection issue. In my case, it turned out to be a defective cable or plug connection. Have you checked the wiring around the switch?

Thanks for the quick reply! I haven't checked the wiring that thoroughly, to be honest. Where exactly should I be looking for the defective cable or plug connection? Is it something I can easily access myself, or does it require some dismantling?

Well, in my case, it was behind the headlight switch. You'll probably need to remove some of the dashboard trim to get to it. Honestly, unless you're comfortable with that sort of thing, it might be worth taking it to a workshop. The error stored in the error memory points to that direction. I ended up paying around 95€ for them to fix it.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I'll have a look at the wiring, but if it seems too complicated, I'll just take it to a workshop. That price seems reasonable. I appreciate the help!
