Jumpy Misfire

My 2004 Citroen Jumpy (gasoline engine) is running rough with the check engine light on. It's got about 51526 km on the clock. When accelerating, the van jerks, and power is low. My OBD2 scanner shows combustion misfire errors. Could it be the fuel pump or a bad spark plug?

Sounds familiar. I've had similar issues with my Jumpy. Misfires can be tricky. Have you checked the injectors?

Injectors, huh? I hadn't considered those. Is it difficult to check them myself? What exactly was the problem with yours?

It's not too hard to check them, but you'll need some basic tools. In my case, one of the injectors was faulty and causing a cylinder misfire. I ended up taking it to a workshop to get it sorted. Best to get it diagnosed properly.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the shop, and you were spot on – a defective injection valve was the culprit. Cost me 515€ to get it fixed, but at least it's running smoothly again.
