Thanks for the quick reply! Where exactly is the charge air temperature sensor located? I'm not super familiar with car parts, so any pointers on where to look for the cable and plug would be great.

It's best to have a workshop check the sensor. The error code indicates a defect, and without proper tools, you might cause further damage. Based on my experience, the repair cost should be around 95€. I advise against DIY repairs in this case.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I took it to the workshop, and you were spot on. It was indeed a defective connection to the charge air temperature sensor. They replaced the faulty connector, and everything's running smoothly again. The total bill came to 95€ just like you said. Really appreciate your help!

I had a similar issue with my Ford Ka, though I can't recall the exact year. Those symptoms - check engine light, reduced power, and hissing - sound familiar. Did you check the cable and plug connection of the sensor itself? Temperature fluctuation can cause that, and it's often just a loose or damaged connection.
