Kadjar Electronic Parking Brake Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Renault Kadjar experienced an electronic parking brake failure, indicated by a non-functional handbrake, an error code, and a warning light. Diagnosis suggested a defective electric motor in the brake caliper as the cause. A similar issue in another vehicle was resolved by replacing the caliper motor, which was also the solution in this case.

Interesting. On your Opel, was the root cause also suspected to be the caliper motor itself?

Yes, ultimately it was the caliper motor. I suggest a visit to the workshop; they can pinpoint it exactly.

Thank you for the insight. The repair indeed involved replacing the caliper motor. The total cost amounted to 505€.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my Opel a while back. Electronic brake fault, system glitch, warning light... the works. Was a pain. Any chance it might be a brake sensor?
